Ouray, Colorado

After climbing the Red Mountain Pass, and driving the steep canyon walls of Uncompahgre Gorge, I descended into Ouray, Colorado, the next town after Silverton, and stopped and took a little walking tour of the main street. Surrounded by 13,000-foot peaks in the San Juan mountain range, Ouray is often referred to as the “Switzerland of America.” Here are some photos.
