Natural Bridges National Monument

My last stop of the day was at Natural Bridges National Monument which showcases, via park loop road, three majestic natural bridges. Natural Bridges was declared a National Monument in 1908, Utah's first. The three bridges are named "Kachina," "Owachomo" and "Sipapu" in honor of the ancestral Puebloans who once made the place their home.

When I arrived, the visitor center had just closed, so I drove the park loop road and stopped at each of the bridges and walked to each overlook to check them out and take a photo. Then I high tailed it to Cortez, Colorado, for a good night's rest.
