Hannibal, Missouri

I arrived into the Mississippi River town of Hannibal, Missouri, after about a six hour drive from Richmond, Indiana. I gained an hour when I crossed the border into Illinois and entered Central Daylight Time. Before and after visiting the Mark Twain boyhood museum attractions, I ventured into the streets of Hannibal and took a few photos of the sights. During my stroll (and also from the car!), I spotted a repurposed upscale hotel (built in 1905), City Hall, a County Courthouse, an Elks Lodge, and an old theatre house. It does appear, though, that tourism and the Mark Twain museum are the main drivers of the town.
