From Capitol Reef NP to Bryce Canyon NP via Utah Scenic Byway 12

To get from Capitol Reef National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park I took Utah Route 12, also known as Scenic Byway 12, or “A Journey Through Time Scenic Byway.” The drive took about three hours due to the switchbacks, elevation changes, and S-curves littered throughout the drive.

Utah 12 is designated an "All-American Road." Only one-third of America’s scenic byways get this distinction, and it’s given because these roads offer unique features that you can’t find elsewhere making these byways tourist destinations unto themselves.

You can find more about Scenic Byway 12 by clicking here or you can google it yourself and you'll get lots of hits!
