Alpine Visitor Center

Alpine Visitor Center in Rocky Mountain National Park is the highest elevation visitor center in the National Park System at an elevation of 11,796 feet. When I arrived, I promptly hiked to the summit of the Alpine Ridge Trail, which has an elevation of 12,005 feet. It was a bit on the chilly side and very windy as you can see from the photo. Of course, the views from the summit were breath taking.
